This Eat Smart PrecisionPRO Kitchen Scale couldn't have come at a more perfect time! For those of you who follow me on Facebook, you will know that I joined Weight Watchers in order to lose some weight for my wedding in October! I'm already (in one week) 5.8 pounds lighter and I have used this handy kitchen scale almost every day! Measuring your food out can be easy if it's in cups or tablespoons, but what about ounces, pounds, kilogram, and grams? This is a super accurate scale and has saved me from overeating and making my cooking easier and not a guessing game! Now, you can either put the food directly onto the scale or use a bowl/plate to hold the ingredients. Remember if you put on a bowl (above) you need to zero out the weight of the bowl so it's not included in your weight when you add the food. All you need to do after you put the bowl on the scale is push the Tare button and it makes the scale read it as zero! (pictured above) Now your ready to weigh out whatever food you want in four different measurement sizes! If your measuring a series of ingredients the three minute time-out will rest each time a new item is placed on the scale so you never lose a weight in the middle of a recipe! In the box, you will find the batteries needed to turn on the scale and a booklet that explains the instructions and a neat little guidebook to calorie counting! They have prepared you to start making better choices by weighing your food and/or to help you perfect those recipes to a T! I really have enjoyed this gadget and keep it on my counter all the time for easy reach and because it's small enough to not take up a ton of room. Not bad for a scale that can weigh an item up to 11 pounds! Check out amazon and you can purchase your own Eat Smart Kitchen Scale!

My 1st grader is learning about measurements in school & I've been trying to teach her how to cook a few things at home. She found a recipe not that long ago that had weighed measurements in it. This would be perfect for us!

This looks great! My MIL gave me a huge kitchen scale, but I hate how big it is. I have to use it to weight my food, this looks perfect! Thanks for sharing this. 1/15/2013 10:43:41 am
I'm going to tell my mom about this scale. It looks like it would be much easier to use than the one she now uses. Leave a Reply. |
